Ben Brazil was the Global Head of Macquarie’s CAF Principal Finance business from its inception in January 2009 until his departure from Macquarie (announced November 2018). He became a member of its Executive Committee in 2014. Ben started employment with Macquarie in 1994 and prior to the inception of the Principal Finance business, worked with Macquarie across a range of geographies and business lines. Ben is a graduate in Commerce and Law from the University of Queensland.
Hayden Jones was Head of Macquarie’s CAF Principal Finance US real estate activities from 2010-2019, based in in New York, deploying capital across all real estate asset classes and geographies within the United States. Prior to joining Macquarie, Mr. Jones was a Global Partner and Managing Director at The Carlyle Group in Washington, DC (1999-2010). During his time at Carlyle, Mr. Jones was Head of the Acquisition Team that executed over $10bn of transactions on behalf of several Carlyle Realty Funds and various co-investment vehicles. Mr. Jones began his career at Lazard Freres Real Estate Investors in New York and is a graduate of Princeton University with a BA degree in Economics and Politics
Michael Wunderlich was the Managing Director of JR Beteiligungs Holdings AG from 2015-2021. Prior to this, Mr. Wunderlich was a Senior Partner at BC Partners, where he started as an Associate in 2001. Prior to joining BC Partners, Mr. Wunderlich worked as an Engagement Manager for Transaction Advisory Services at Arthur Andersen. Mr. Wunderlich is a graduate in Business Administration from the University of Leipzig and is a certified German tax advisor.
Andrew Gray was a Managing Director at Macquarie’s CAF Principal Finance business from 2010 to 2020, based in London. Prior to joining the Principal Finance business, Mr. Gray was an Analyst at J.P. Morgan in Sydney. Mr. Gray is a graduate in Economics and Arts from the University of New South Wales, Sydney.
David Light was a Managing Director at Oak Hill Advisors from 2020-2022, based in Chicago. Previously, Mr. Light was a Managing Director at Macquarie’s CAF Principal Finance business from 2011-2020. Prior to joining Macquarie, Mr. Light was an Investment Analyst with Prudential Capital Group. Mr. Light has received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois and a Masters in Finance from INSEAD, and has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Keith Page was a Managing Director and Co-Head of Equity Investments for Pearlmark from 2018 to 2023, based in Chicago and Nashville. Previously, Mr. Page was a Senior Vice President at Macquarie’s CAF Principal Finance business from 2010 to 2018. Prior to joining the Principal Finance business, Mr. Page was an Analyst with Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Mr. Page has received a Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and a Masters in Finance from INSEAD.
Esther Scott was the COO & General Counsel at Greencoat Capital LLP, a specialist investment manager working in the renewable energy sector. Prior to joining Greencoat Capital, Ms. Scott acted as Fund Counsel and CF10/11 for AMP Capital, a global investment manager and Head of Legal for HSBC Alternative Investments Limited, the global alternative investment arm of HSBC. Ms Scott began her career as an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis International LLP. She is a Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales and holds a BA in Modern Languages from the University of Oxford.
Audrey Pitcher acted as Legal Counsel at Davidson Kempner European Partners, LLP, a global investment management firm focussed on fundamental investing with a multi-strategy approach, from 2018 to 2022. Prior to joining Davidson Kempner, Ms Pitcher was a Senior Associate at Slaughter and May in the Restructuring and Insolvency team having joined on qualification seven years prior. She is a Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales and holds a Bachelor of Laws from The College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English and French from Royal Holloway College, University of London.
Will Graham-Rack was a Vice President at Macquarie’s CAF Principal Finance business from 2017 to 2022, based in London. Prior to joining the Principal Finance business, Mr. Graham-Rack was an Analyst in Deutsche Bank’s TMT investment banking team. Mr. Graham-Rack is a graduate in Economics from the University of Warwick.
Jack Roberts was a Vice President at Macquarie’s CAF Principal Finance business from 2017 to 2022, based in London. Prior to joining the Principal Finance business, Mr. Roberts was an Associate in the Financial Institutions Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, having started his career at UBS. Joseph Brough previously worked at AnaCap Financial Partners where he managed all financial reporting and financial control aspects for its open-ended listed Fund. Prior to joining AnaCap, Mr. Brough was a Trainee Chartered Accountant at Blick Rothenberg LLP, where he became a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Tyler Roth was an Investment Professional at Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners from 2018-2021, based in New York. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Roth was an Analyst at Credit Suisse in the Power and Renewables Investment Banking group in New York. Mr. Roth is a graduate of Princeton University with a BSE degree in Operations Research and Financial Engineering.
Matt Switzer was an Investment Professional at Blackstone Credit from 2021 to 2023, based in San Francisco.
