FitzWalter Capital acquires TriConnex and eSmart Networks from Nexus Infrastructure plc.
Established in 2011 and headquartered in Essex, UK, Nexus¹ is an infrastructure developer that originates, designs and builds ‘last mile’ utility connections for new residential, industrial and commercial buildings. Nexus provides developers with a full-multi-utility connection offering, coupled with a deep focus on customer service.
FitzWalter has partnered with Mike Morris, CEO and major shareholder, to continue to grow the platform and its creation of infrastructure assets. Building on its established position in the electricity and gas connections sector, market and regulatory changes have supported newer service offerings including water and fibre. In addition, Nexus has expanded from its original base in the South East into the South West and most recently into the Midlands.
Mike Morris, CEO of Nexus Infrastructure Plc, commented: “I am excited to be partnering with FitzWalter, given their experience in the last-mile connections space. Nexus has built and maintained a strong reputation for providing a high level of customer service alongside cost‑effective, efficient connections. I look forward to continuing to grow the business with the support of FitzWalter.”
Andrew Gray, Partner at FitzWalter, added: “We are excited to announce the completion of this transaction and partnership with CEO, Mike Morris, and the rest of the senior management team. Nexus delivers critical infrastructure to customers at a time of transition and increased complexity. The team is well placed to navigate this landscape and realise significant growth opportunities.”
